Assam Agribusiness Growth Lab (AAGL), an APART Initiative organized a virtual awareness session on “PRADHAN MANTRI FORMALISATION OF MICRO FOOD PROCESSING ENTERPRISES SCHEME (PMFME)” on 21st January 2022.The session aimed at deliberating on the scheme in details launched by the Govt. of Assam to benefit entrepreneurs from the food processing industry of Assam. AIIDC is the government nodal department to implement this scheme in Assam. Altogether, 11 AAGL Cohort enterprises attended the session.

Mr. Chandrabhan Kakoty, Marketing Manager, PMFME-Assam, conducted the session. He presented an introduction and overview of the PMFME schemes with a demo on the application process. The presentation was followed by a Q&A forum, where the entrepreneurs put forth their queries and concerns, eliciting satisfactory answers from the presenter on each one of them.
