Alay Barah works in the capacity of Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining ICCSPL, Alay was CEO of Reach India. With 25 years of work experience with the government and the non-profit sector, he has expertise in strategic planning, social enterprise development, livelihood, enterprise promotion, microfinance, health, participatory monitoring & evaluation and human resource development. Alay brings in inimitable skills in entrepreneurship and leadership, having worked with organizations such as Freedom from Hunger USA as Country Director, American India Foundation as Director of Livelihoods Programs, and Rashtriya Gramin Vikas Nidhi as Director of Operations. Alay holds a master’s degree in Social Work from Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai. He has served as Senior Fellow at The Institute of Policy Studies, John Hopkins University, in 2001 under its International Philanthropy Fellows Program. He was also awarded a Ford Motor Company International Fellowship in 2010 as a community leader
Amit Verma works in the capacity of an Assistant Program Manager – Monitoring and Evaluation. With more than 5 years of work experience in the development sector, he has worked with National CSR Hub at Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) as well as other grassroots organizations. His areas of expertise include carrying out research studies, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building and program management. Amit holds a Masters degree in Social Work from Central University of Himachal Pradesh.
Jasmeet Singh works in the capacity of a Program Manager. Jasmeet has been working as a climate change associate since 2009. He has vast experience in business development and Incubation of social business in climate change and renewable energy programs. He has over 8 years of experience in renewable energy planning, project implementation, consultancy and training. His activities include program designing, project management, feasibility, techno economic due diligence, rural village electrification and renewable energy planning. He is also on the jury panel of Millennium Alliance for evaluating social business models on clean energy. Jasmeet holds a MBA degree in Power Management.
Joseph Thomas works in the capacity of a Program Manager. With eight years of work experience in the development sector, he serves as an expert in Children’s rights and education. He has worked in different capacities with organizations at the state, national and international level. His core area of engagement is Child rights with special focus on textile, natural stone and agriculture sectors. He is also an expert and trainer in different data collection and reporting tools. Joseph holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Social Work.
Nirjumoni Dutta Bharali works in the capacity of a Senior Program Manager. Nirju has over 20 years of experience in development sector of handling collaborative projects undertaken with UNICEF, EdCIL India, Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan(SSA) etc. Prior to joining ICCSPL she has worked for 17 years at Assam MahilaSamata Society (AMSS) to implement the National Mahila Samakhya program as Programme officer including 6 years as an Assistant Director. Her core expertise lies in good organisational skills, strong grass root level experience related to holistic empowerment of rural marginalized women, life skill education for adolescents, Child Rights and Protection, Institution building of women and gender issues, livelihood promotion, thrift and credit and proposal development etc.
Prashant works in the capacity of a Senior Accounts Manager since February 2010. His areas of competencies are finalization of accounts, handling audit queries, taxation, service tax and other related matters. Prior to joining ICCSPL, he has worked with reputed organizations such as FMSF, SAFRG and CIABC. He has over 18 years of experience in Accounts, Finance and audit of different organizations in commercial as well as financial sector. He has also been involved in the financial assessment and monitoring review assignments. Prashant holds a Master’s degree in Commerce and an MBA in Financial Management.
Ravi works in the capacity of a Deputy Director. He is a development professional with more than 14 years of experience in social and economic development projects. He started his career from grassroot NGOs and later worked in senior positions in some of the prestigious National and International organizations like IGSSS, Sequa gGmbH and MIT-Poverty Action Lab. He has experience in Project Management, Partnership management, Client relations and Strategy development. Ravi holds Master’s degree in Rural Management from Xavier Institute of Social Services. He is also a Certified Professional on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) by Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA).
Sourav Mohanty works as an Assistant Program Manager Finance in ICCSPL. He supports financial planning, maintaining periodical financial reports, and working closely with partners for maintaining financial records. Sourav’s previous assignment was with Ekutir Global where he was responsible for integrating ICT platform in the agricultural sector to improve income of marginal farmers. Prior to that, he worked with Analysis Publishing Pvt Ltd as a Business Analyst in formulating financial reports, providing competitive analysis and interpreting data for various clients. He holds a Masters in Business Administration in Total Quality Management from the University of Sikkim Manipal University, and Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Ravenshaw University.
Subir Singha works in the capacity of a Head – Agribusiness Booster & Business Development since 2014. He is the focal point for Program Finance and Business Acceleration for Agri-Business Booster. He has more than 27 years of experience in the field of finance & accounts, taxation, business acceleration and investment. Prior to joining ICCSPL, he was associated with many national and international NGOs, non-banking finance companies and the corporate sector. Subir holds a Master’s degree in Commerce
Zainab works in the capacity of Manager – Communications and Partnership. She has more than 6 years of work experience in branding and communications and leading initiatives at the nexus of policy, advocacy and action. Her expertise lies in driving the overarching communication strategy and supporting the fundraising and resource mobilization efforts of the organization. Prior to joining ICCSPL, Zainab has worked with India’s leading environment think-tank TERI and UN Environment’s collaborating centre called International Ecosystem Management Partnership in Beijing. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and did her journalism from Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India.
